At 9:00 we will pick you up from your hotel to start the tour to Bolivia’s capital. Visit “La Recoleta” and its church and the lookout that show a panoramic view of the city, continue the visit with the ASUR Textile Museum, or Museum of Indigenous Art that exhibits a great variety of textiles from indigenous cultures. Then appreciate the architecture and facades of San Lazaro and Santo Domingo churches, these churches are characterized by being built since the founding of the city. One of the most beautiful places in Sucre is the Cemetery which has a lot of history of the main characters of Bolivia. Enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant and afterwards continue the walking tour visiting the Main Square May 25th, where the Historical Museum of Freedom is located, an important place where the Bolivian independence act was signed; in the main square is also the Metropolitan Cathedral. Continue visiting the Treasure Museum, which shows the origins, techniques, and art of Bolivian metals and precious stones, continue to “San Francisco” church and “San Felipe de Nery” Museum. Finally, return to your hotel. Included: Private transport, professional guide (English – Spanish), lunch and admission fees. Remarks: Some museums are closed on Sundays and only can be visited from outside. |
