COPACABANA & SUN ISLAND TO PUNO Full Day

Lake Titicaca, Copacabana and Sun Island (Full Day)

Pickup from your hotel in La Paz (Bolivia) to drive through a paved road to Copacabana peninsula, located 151 km from the city, the trip is approximately 3 and a half hours, the road will border Lake Titicaca with an impressive view of the Andes Mountain Range. Arrival and visit the church where the brown Madonna is exhibited, continues the local market of Copacabana and after lunch tour to Sun Island, crossing the lake for approximately an hour to get to Yumani village, where you visit the archaeological site of “Pilkokaina” an Inca Temple, then a short walk up the Yumani stairs until reaching three springs, it is believed that this fountain is the fountain of eternal youth. After the visit return to the town of Copacabana and land transfer to Puno (Peru) city, but on the way, there is a stop in the border Kasani to do immigrations formalities.
