Day 1

Lake Titicaca, Copacabana and Sun Island Overnight (2 Days / 1 Night)

Pickup from your hotel to drive through a paved road to Copacabana peninsula, located 151 km from the city, the trip is approximately 3 and a half hours, the road will border Lake Titicaca with an impressive view of the Andes Mountain Range. Arrival and visit the church where the brown Madonna is exhibited, continues the local market of Copacabana and after lunch tour to Sun Island, crossing the lake for approximately an hour to get to Yumani village, where you visit the archaeological site of “Pilkokaina” an Inca Temple, then a short walk up the Yumani stairs until reaching three springs, it is believed that this fountain is the fountain of eternal youth. After the visit accommodation at the lodge and enjoy the Island appreciating the amazing sunset.

Day 2

Very early it is advisable to see the sunrise, the sun rises from the Andes Mountain range and becomes an astonishing landscape. Enjoy your breakfast and later get back to the port to take the boat to return to the town of Copacabana. Once there, visit the church where the brown Madonna is exhibited, at midday enjoy a lunch and later return to La Paz city.
