Seasons With such diverse geography, Bolivia can experience some kind of weather. But basically, there are two seasons, Dry and Rainy seasons. Dry Season is considered from April to December and Rainy Season is from January to March

Language In Bolivia the main spoken language is Spanish, then Aymara and Quechua which are native languages. English is spoken in tourist places like airports, hotels, some restaurants and some shops. ATMs have an English option to select. 

Currency Bolivia uses bolivianos. But US dollars can be accepted in hotels or restaurants. 1 USD = 7 Bolivianos. You can use credit cards in most shops and restaurants. 

Health If you visit the rainforest areas (like Madidi, Pampas or Amboró) is a must to have yellow fever vaccination. It is compulsory.

Tipping It is optional, most places do not include tips in the bill. A tip of around 5% or so is sometimes given, and is considered polite.
