Potosi City Tour (Half Day)

At 9:00 or at 14:00 we will pick you up from your hotel to start the visit to the historical city of Potosi. A walking tour where you will enjoy one of the main cities in the world for its mineral contribution. Visit to the “Casa de la Moneda”, the most important museum that houses the shows old coin machinery due to the surprising extraction of silver from the silver mines. Later, visit the exteriors of the Cathedral of Potosí; Tower of the Company of Jesus, a baroque style tower part of an old convent; the church of San Lorenzo, recognized for its elaborated indigenous baroque style. Continue with the San Francisco lookout from where you can appreciate the old town of Potosí and the “Cerro Rico” of Potosí that remains as a symbol that Potosí was once the most important city in the world. Lately, return to your hotel.

Remark: The tour is a walking activity, as the city has colonial and narrow streets it is complicated to do the tour by car.
