Maragua Crater & Dinosaur Footprints (Full Day)

At 08:00 we will pick you up from your hotel in Sucre to start the excursion. First, transfer to Chataquila where there is a small chapel famous for its Madonna painted on a smooth stone; then and start a hike of 7 km mostly hiking down through an Inca Trail and enjoy impressive views all around. Once we reach Chaunaca village, the car will pick you up to take you to Maragua crater. This place has an impressive natural landscape with rock formations, waterfalls and canyons. Enjoy a box lunch and then continue to Ñiñumayu where dinosaur footprints can be seen in giants’ rocks, to get there it is necessary to hike for about 30 minutes each way. If you enjoy dinosaur topics it is worthily to do it. Afterwards, return by car to your hotel in Sucre.
